 Some Councils Are Looking To Cut Services

 

 

This is a quick follow up to the post earlier this week. We have received a local authority flyer. Our County Council is reporting a projected budgetary deficient of well over £100 million. The flyer was seeking public opinion on the reduction of various services.

Experience tells us that funding will be reduced, amongst other areas, in social care. Potentially stretching the service and producing poor outcomes due to operational pressure. The knock-on effect will result in an increase in claims. Potentially that will involve the inclusion of individual doctors where previously only the council may have been sued.

Solicitors will involve parties where they believe access to cash to pay a claim is quicker.
